Weddings are built from two of the most invaluable things we have: love and time.
Maybe that’s why I’ve always felt such a responsibility when photographing them.
Flowers will be taken down. Champagne bottles will empty. Dresses will be carefully packed away. And eventually, the night everyone wished could last a little longer will become a story you tell.
But photographs have this beautiful ability to make time tangible.
Twenty years from now, I want you to remember the way your partner looked at you across the table. Your parents dancing. Your best friend crying through their toast. The people who were there, exactly as they were in that season of your lives.
Not simply photographs of a beautiful wedding.
A record of a life being lived and loved.

When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll usually find me romanticizing another corner of our home, tucked into a moody coffee shop, or forever wishing it felt like fall outside.
I’m a true romantic at heart The Wedding Singer will forever be one of my favorite romcoms, The Notebook still gets me every time, and editing with Gilmore Girls in the background is my idea of a perfect day.
Jesus is at the center of my life. I’m a dog mom, fashion girlie at heart, and thirteen years into a love story of my own.
Maybe that’s why I’m so drawn to love in all its forms the grand gestures are beautiful, but it’s the quiet, everyday kind that stays with me.
