Grace and Ryan’s engagement session in Laguna Beach felt like a love letter to the carefree, sun-drenched fun of being completely yourself with your person. With their wedding set for 2026 in the dreamy Fallbrook hills, this session was all about stripping it back, no stiff poses, no forced moments. Just them, in love, on the coast. We opted to shoot on both digital and film to preserve their story in every texture and tone, capturing the crisp details and the nostalgic softness that only film can bring. I leaned into movement, laughter, and playful prompts to draw out their most honest reactions, those in-between glances, the quiet grins, the bursts of laughter that can’t be planned. We let the ocean breeze set the tone and embraced every windswept moment, capturing their connection exactly as it is: real, radiant, and rooted in fun.
